For my coworker that had his stolen on his rental vehicle it cost us $3500 to replace and I believe wasn't covered under the rental insurance.

My neighbors rented a vehicle for vacation and the cat was stolen while they were sleeping in the hotel. They had to spend a whole day and a half to get the situation straightened out. Not only were they out the cash, they lost time on their vacation.

My coworkers was stolen straight out in front of the hotel lobby, you could see it through the glass doors.
