Planning on installing a new pump in my '06 LJ when I drop the tank (future procrastinations) to do the Savvy GTS and fix the spitting fuel valve. Which pump assembly would be preferable? Bosch or Delphi?

Bosch. Yours has lasted this long, which is way longer than 2 years.

As long as the oem Bosch is still available stick with that.

Was the original fuel pump not a Mopar part? When I pulled mine out it had a Chrysler logo on it.

That's the pressure regulator. For my 2000 the Bosch was NLA as a unit but the pump itself was so I bought the Bosch pump and installed it into my unit along with a new pressure regulator. I also had to locate the OEM pickup screen which wasn't difficult.

It took a lot more time and cost a lot more than an after market complete unit but I didn't want to ever have to do it again.

Bosch is the original OEM supplier of fuel pumps.

So Bosch = Mopar.

Ironically while the fuel pumps are the holy Grail, the Bosch O2 sensors don't work.

Go figure.

I ordered a replacement Bosch pump...from Brazil...and followed the destructions to swap my pump out of the assembly. It lasted two weeks. YMMV.

Twenty year old OEM stuff that was made in one country back then might not be made in the same place or to the same quality standards today. While Mopar is typically pretty good the company has gone through a few ownership changes and a lot of it comes from China now.

Well, @macleanflood, you made me go look. The new Bosch fuel pump assembly for my 06 was made in the USA.

Exactly. And the new replacement pumps (not housings) are made in Brazil.

Are they equivalent? Will they last the same 20 years?

Who knows...ask us in 20 years.

All speculation.

My sample size of one says they're not equivalent in quality. Pure speculation at this point.

Same goes with NTK sensors. I found that out when ordering from Rockauto. Time will tell.

If a Bosch pump goes 20 years and 200K miles, saving a few $ seems silly. Of course, this assumes the Jeep will be with you a while!
