Fuel Pump Options

Looking to replace my Fuel Pump Assembly in my 1997 TJ 4.0L with19 gal tank.

My Research indicates many older posts recommended and preferred Bosch P/N 67655 which is no longer available and the Delphi P/N FG1353 although available & expensive, has horrible reviews. Any pump recommendations/advice as to which brand /part number has been reliable for you or brand to stay away from?

For what it's worth I replaced mine with an Airtex in 2010 from Advance auto in 2010 ish. still works.

I ended up changing the fuel pump this morning (used the Delphi P/N FG1353).. Test drive was good. It corrected an errant fuel gauge indication issue and a "crank it twice to start" issue on my 1997 TJ 4.0.

I've been running a Delphi close to 2 years now. It's been good so far.

Been on plenty of trails also.

My 99 Sport has an " 19 " gallon tank .
