Soon, I’m going to be installing Taboo Customs body mount repair plates.

To accommodate this, I have to loosen the bolts to the front body mount as well as the 4 rearward body mounts. I’ve started spraying the bolts (and where accessible, the threaded ends) with various penetrant sprays (Liquid Wrench, PB Blaster, 50% ATF & Acetone).

In the likely event, the bolts end up breaking or the welded nuts break free, I’m curious what folks have done, or what options are available for repairing these seemingly inaccessible spots.

Why do you need pictures? The 3 body mounts down the sides are all shot, but there's enough tub material left to weld repair plates to.

I'm asking if there's a common used method for repairs to the captive hardware at the other 5 body mounts.

And the answer might depend on the overall condition & specifics of your jeep. But if you just don't want to share pictures with the guy who basically fronts the cash to run the site you've come to for answers and who also has engaged you on your question, then just accept that you may have to imagineer your solution.

There is no common repair that applies to all the mounts, basically you have to plan the repair based on what's left after the bolt snaps or the mount rips. Total crap shoot. I reframed my 99 and of the 11 mounts I ripped 2 torque box mounts and snapped 1 bolt and my tub was in decent shape. Bought the individual repair pieces needed thru Pocono Metal for the boxes.
