Blind spot mirror removal

Have need to remove the two small 'blind spot' convex mirrors from the side mirrors on my '04 Sport.
PO installed them and they are really stuck on. Chemicals or ??
Thank you

Have you tried using dental floss to "cut" them off? Depending on the adhesive, you may be able to do this (like a pocket chain saw) then just clean up the adhesive remnants with mineral spirits.

WD-40, Oops!, Goo Gone, etc.

If they're really stuck on tight and you're in a hurry you could do it in a couple minutes with Windex or anything soapy and a BRAND NEW CLEAN SINGLE EDGE RAZOR BLADE.

BRAND NEW CLEAN UTILITY KNIFE BLADES
will also work but the single edge blades can flex and get behind the blind spot mirrors a bit easier .

FWIW, The GREEN, BOLD, and CAPITAL letters are there because any blade that's old or dirty will scratch the heck out of anything made of glass.

Have tried the dental floss suggestion . . . floss would get stuck and break.
Now have razor blades and WD-40 . . . will let it soak for awhile.
That bonding tab used for the mirrors would also stick a fender to the body, or a bumper back on your Jeep.
Will let you know how it goes here.
Suggestions are much appreciated, thank you.

I have always used fishing line instead of dental floss, and use it like a saw pulling back and forth while pulling it through the adhesive. It seems to "cut" better than floss and be stronger.

I broke a mirror glass on one of my trucks...it cost $9.50 for brand new glass.

Hardly worth the effort to remove them even at twice that price.
