D would be doable, but an E rating I don’t think I could do again. It’s rough lol
An E rated tire has no place on the street. Well, not on a Wrangler at least.

Heavy trucks...not wranglers hahaAn E rated tire has no place on the street. Well, not on a Wrangler at least.
Lol I’m not gonna get into one of these Blaine offs with you...I know that what I have on my jeep is a tire that is supposed to be 34.4”. I am not even close to that. That’s all. That’s all I’m saying. Please don’t tell me to go F myself![]()
BFG is full of shit when it comes to the sizes of their tires.
Lol pretty sure you measure from point A to point B and you come up with your answer. I want to tell you to go fuck yourself or unfuck your thinking on tires, but I’ll take the high road. You can Chris need to unfuck your thinking on tires and how to measure them, or not if you wish to remain ignorant.

I suspect the most accurate way would be to lay the tire/rim flat, inflated to the target pressure, and measure the circumference at the center of the tread. Then divide by pi and you have a more accurate measurement than estimating where the tread ends with a tape measure across the sidesLol pretty sure you measure from point A to point B and you come up with your answer. Ok so the same tire on the back of my Jeep should measure 34.4” theoretically correct?I'm not sure why ya'll are struggling with the most basic of concepts?? A loaded tire on a vehicle does not, can not, and will not have the same measured diameter horizontally as it does vertically. What is it in your brain that doesn't allow that to sink in?
You can take the high road, makes you no less ignorant on this.
Which direction? Is it on the recommended rim size?Ok so the same tire on the back of my Jeep should measure 34.4” theoretically correct?
I give up lol I haven’t even had my morning coffee yet. I’m putting this to bed.Which direction? Is it on the recommended rim size?

If you don't learn and understand how to measure a tire and come up with a rolling radius and double that to get the effective tire size, then there is no way to understand gear charts, speedometer correction, gear ratios and why what you see on the dash with regard to speed versus RPM do or don't match.Vertically. It's on a 17x8" wheel, which is the recommended size.
I guess I didn't know about loaded vs. unloaded. I just measured it at 33.25" and thought that came nowhere close to the claimed 34.4".
Guess I learned something new today!
There is little in this world that is more challenging when it comes to people than willful ignorance, very little. Now you fully understand why I am such an asshole about some things and why when faced with the same situations I've encountered over and over, I no longer have the patience for a gentle guiding hand to enlightenment or understanding. You've adopted a position, it fits your belief system true or false and you are not willing to go learn something that will help you understand so much more about how things work.I give up lol I haven’t even had my morning coffee yet. It’s all good Blaine. Just to make my point even further I’ll include pics of my measurements. I measured horizontally and vertically on my spare tire. Exact size as what is mounted “loaded weight” on my jeep. My spare tire measures 33.5”. Spare tire is “unloaded weight” just wanted to make that clear. There is little in this world that is more challenging when it comes to people than willful ignorance, very little.
