Hey all. I’ve got a vibration issue and I’m pretty sure I know what it is but I’d like your guys opinion. Just finished installing a rubicon transfer case, front and rear axles on my 2001. I have no issues until about 50ish mph and I get a pretty good (well bad) vibration going. I’ve messed with the front pinion angle quite a bit with no difference. I pulled the front driveshaft out and drove it up to 75 and no vibration at all. I have a feeling that the front driveshaft is bent or out of balance. The whole driveline is out of a rolled rubicon. Could I possibly be missing something or do I just need to take the driveshaft to a driveshaft shop? I have tried the pinion a few degrees lower, higher and the same as the driveshaft angle.

Only thing I’ve notice on the driveshaft is the slip joint does have some up and down play in it. My old setup had a ten factory front driveshaft that had no play in the slip joint. Maybe I open it up and put some grease in there to see if it changes? Would my ten factory front driveshaft fit?

I was just thinking to pack it full of grease to see if the vibration changes. It’s not a lot of play. Just thinking of ways to diagnose it

So I’ve found the two u joints at the double cardan are bad. I’m trying to push them out and idk why but I cannot get them to come out. The inner portion hits the flange of the double cardan before the cap is even close to coming out. I just did one for a Dana 30 front driveshaft and had no issues. Am I an idiot? Lol. I pivot it so the inner portion doesn’t hit the flange but while pressing it out it twists and hits the flange like in the picture
