How tight should the battery bracket be? I tightened mine down tonight on a new agm battery. I tightened it, pushed it to the side and it slid a half inch or so. So I gave it another turn or two on each side. And then when I pushed it it didn't move anymore.

I realized as I was tightening it though that its a plastic box basically. And that if I got it too tight it could crush the housing.

I found a good deal on a cheap agm battery too. My old battery came with the Jeep. And was getting weak. I was gonna just have a AAA battery put in. But then I thought an AGM would be nice. But can't afford a Northstar right now. Dug around on the forum looking for better parent companies that make AGM batteries for the big parts stores. And found this one. It used to be $157. $169 now. There is a 15% off online purchases right now. Look on the homepage.

Does yours have the strap that goes over the battery or the block down at the base that holds it in place? Mine has the block and I just tighten it until its feels tight, make sure the battery doesn't move and retighten a little more if it does.
