My dad finally sold me his truck and camper!
Now I just need a trailer, and I can ride in style like a knock-off @MagnumV8 lol. I'd say then I can start driving the jeep like I don't have to drive it home... but I already kinda do. Excited to have a truck big enough to pull the jeep, and it should come in handy when the MR2 starts hitting the drag strip too. I probably won't be able to afford a trailer til next year though

If its a 14 bolt rear then 6.0l. Looks too small to be an 11.5 aam.
Those use the same drivetrain as the duramax. Nothing would survive long behind 495 cubes
I read the 4l85e was used in the yukon/suburban and that's an improved 4l80e like I have. But I probably won't bother, at least for a long time. I already have 2 cars in the middle of engine RR lol I need this to be reliable
Trucks use the allison/zf6 and 11.5aam with the big block and diesel. The van and sub being the exception because of the smaller frames having no room. It isn't a good compromise.
Those lq4's may be a bit of a turd in the 2500,but they are reliable and last a long time.

How's the inside of the topper look? Outside makes it look pretty solid!
It's in pretty good shape, just dated. My dad was still actively using it so it's not like it has been sitting or anything. I'll get some pics in a bit!

Hopefully used trailer prices come back down. If not, go out of state and buy something new. That’s what I ended up doing and I spent the same $ as I would have for used here.
When you measure your mattress just know that many times a RV mattress is a different size than what you'd have in your home.
I have RV Queen in my motorhome. Amazon sells RV size sheets too.
