Barnes steering kit: anyone?

I did a quick look around but didn’t see anything posted about it. Is anyone using the Barnes crossover steering kit? A shop recommended it to me today, and it’s priced low enough to consider as an alternative to the ZJ upgrade.

From what I've seen, that is junk. 2 friends had it and it drove like shit and the heims didn't last worth a crap. And they aren't cheap to replace

Your shop does not understand steering geometry.

Any and all crossover steering on stock axles is worse than factory because it disrupts the relationship with the track bar creating bump steer as the suspension cycles.

ZJ steering is factory geometry and will always be better than crossover. Even better will be RockJock Currectlync, which is also factory geometry.
