This is a Dana 30 correct? Looking at swapping out my front at some point for 37s down the road but I’ve stared at this for so long I’ve second guessed myself. Lol

Yeah. I don’t want to know what the rest of that is.

Yes its a Dana 30. The tierod and drag link i believe are Teraflex aluminum High Steer kit.

I've always referred to it as the DPO

Dumb Previous Owner, Dreaded Previous Owner.

On a car I bought years ago, I found that the throttle cable retainer had broken off at the pedal end and the cable was being held on by a nice pair of Snap-On needle nose vise grips.

The vise grips were worth more than a replacement throttle cable 😁

It was the definition of the moniker "It's only temporary, unless it works"

Car is long gone, but I still have the vise grips

King Solomon was the richest person who ever lived, I think he must've bought a pre-owned Jeep at some point and found some DPO "modifications"

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

@Dvaniwaarden11 Just funning with you. I’ve used vise grips on a previous vehicle to hold the heater blower motor on. I was on the way to work when the blower motor fell out so I stopped at a harbor freight, bought a cheap pair of vise grips and went along my way. Car is probably in the junk yard with a pair of cheap pliers stuck to the motor. Rusty pliers 🤭
