So I read somewhere on this forum that someone was using their ARB compressor to air up tires and such. I can't find where I read it so I am posting my question here. If I buy the dual motor ARB compressor can it be used for both lockers as well as airing up tires after 4 wheeling? If so can someone point to the necessary components and or thread where this is well documented?

Yep,mine came with a hose kit for airing up,the manifold on it has a couple outlet,I use one for my front locker also.

You can use for both, some on here (including myself) feel you should have one for tire fill, and the small for lockers.

The single arb is what I have. It’s rated to fill tires up to a 35. Just based on volume size and how long it would need to run they don’t recommend it for larger tires. I use mine to fill my 33s and normal car tires all the time.

I may be blasted for riding the poverty pony, but i have a Viair 400H for my onboard air (tires only, I have OEM Rubicon locker pumps) and that little thing can take a beating and keep on ticking. I have never had any issues with it at all, and it cost me less than half as much as the ARB dual.

Heres link to a torture test of the Viair 400H running for like 2 hours 45 minutes straight @ 30 PSI.

Do you NEED the specification of the ARB dual? If not, i would consider a Viair and the smaller ARB for your lockers if you feel the need for redundancy there.

You could buy two 400H's and the ARB locker pump for the cost of the ARB Dual.
