I was taught to write cursive by a nun in third grade who was armed with a heavy duty oak yardstick, which she wielded like a broadsword. I still write and read it with no problems, and other people can read it, too.

It’s not just Alexa. The wife and I were talking and her iPhone spontaneously said “I didn’t quite get that”. I pointed out to her that having Siri activated was not necessarily a good thing. I mean, has no one seen West World, The Terminator, or The Matrix? Dang. We have been warned, yet we still walk into the abyss.Similar story:
Good friends of ours have an Alexa.
They don't have a cat.
I told them to randomly mention cat food during normal conversation and very soon after they started getting ads and suggestions for cat food.
And here I was thinking that Alexa/Google/Siri/Satan only listened when you called their wake up word.
