Reason 2,609,377 why I won't have one of those demonic devices.
My kids are 23 & 24. They both learned and can write fluently in cursive. Their grandfather still wrote them letters in cursive and expects them to write back in cursive. Maybe it’s a Catholic thing?
Similar story:
Good friends of ours have an Alexa.
They don't have a cat.
I told them to randomly mention cat food during normal conversation and very soon after they started getting ads and suggestions for cat food.
And here I was thinking that Alexa/Google/Siri/Satan only listened when you called their wake up word.

It used to be a joke, but today it's quite real if you're not careful.
I had a "situation" with Well Fargo many years ago. My father was on his deathbed. He had pre-signed several checks so I could pay his bills - one of them was his property tax. Fucking Wells Fargo bounced the check as the check amount writing didn't match his signature. I called them, they insisted on speaking with him. I told them MULTIPLE TIMES that he was fucking DYING, but policy is policy I was told. He got hit with a large penalty from the county because the check bounced. I let his attorney handle it - the penalty was eventually waived, but I'll stuff my money into a mattress before I'll ever do business with Wells - fuckers.
Note: The instant someone uses the word "policy" - my response is an immediate "Then all pretense of customer service just went out the window."
As a business owner I had a very poor experience with Wells Fargo also. I would neve recommend them.
