I don't know if it's any help to anyone. But AliExpress has a ton radio mounting brackets for cheap.

Just a random selection. Alot of universal mounts with slotted holes that it easy to fit many different applications and locations within a vehicle.

Close to what I did as well. I have a custom panel in the dash and added the port there.

My ARR setup. I don’t think he’s still in business. It’s just a piece of rectangle with flanges on the end and mounts to existing holes in the roll bar. I have a retractable lanyard bought at a truck stop for trail use.

I have this also. I originally was going to fabricobble something similar out of UniStrut, but being as this was pre-made, it was cheaper. I now wish I'd actually gone ahead with the UniStrut idea - it would have been a lot nicer for cable wiring. But otherwise, the ARR mount is solid.

Same here. It’s a very simple design but I didn’t need to measure and figure out the bolt pattern. It installed in minutes’ it came with hardware and I just zip tied the cables. Plenty of room for my external speaker and room to add another radio.
He was a private guy who built these in his garage. Not sure if he still builds them but you can email him at rickhea@gmail.com and ask. The price was really reasonable when I got mine about 2 yrs ago.

Yeppers - I got mine about the same time - maybe a bit earlier. He once had a website, but last time I checked it was gone.

That is a very clean installation .

I am thinking of installing plugs for my microphones also . I just installed the new Yaesu ftm-150r , so far I really like it . Fit really nice with the Icom IC-706 MK2 . The cellphones go on each side of the radios , makes it a nice setup for the co-pilot/navigator .

Passenger airbag is removed . I personally do not care for airbags . Eventually I will most likely change out the steering wheel for a non-airbag steering wheel .

Why would you want to remove the airbags in a street driven vehicle?
