Tell me what you catching and how it is going.

I enjoy about any species-

We went for crappie and had no luck ….so I started throwing a chatterbait for bass…. that is a bladed jig has a good reputation, but I’ve had very little experience with and had not caught a fish on before

Never has much luck with bass at night either . Boy that changed-

Right now Im focused on steelhead.

This isn't super recent since the mountains cooled off, but at least in many of the alpine lakes we only get sad little brookies. They're planted annually and don't tend to mature a ton.

It was kind of elusive- and you’re not kidding there was one point where I stopped the bait and I sensed something was fixing to nail it and it sure did-

Cool bait. I’ve been watching videos like crazy to learn more technique.

sounds like you're getting it down ! thats the way I used to be, sounds crazy but you can almost feel them breathing on it. as the water gets colder slow it down to where it is just shaking your rod tip like crazy and pause it every 6 or 8 turns thats normally when they'll nail it.

Thank you I’m going to put that to use Thursday evening if it works anything like I think I’m not going to tell anybody about that pumpkin
