Amazon prices

There is no way to know, other than at the very least the prominence of billionaire donor influence historically has been less than in this administration. We certainly would not have DOGE performing it's theatrics or bribe planes.

The low level pushback against foreign manufacturing, cheap imported goods, big business money buying political power, etc is nothing new. It is all part of the lie of trickle down economics that has been dismantling the power of the post war middle class over the last 40 years. Both sides carry responsibility for this. As do the American people for buying into it against our own better interests for so long.

I won’t argue. I’m old enough to remember when Reagan gave all our oil industry to the Saudis and Clinton sent away all our manufacturing. But I will 100% agree with painful and unapologetic slashing of most government spending, especially the handouts whether corporate or social.

Funny how govt spending and debt is increasing. And how we get to pay more tariffs. And how the wealthy get more tax breaks.

1.99+$15 shipping from Quadratec or $12.95 from Prime. Prime is still cheaper they just rolled the shipping cost in to give you "free shipping"

Sorry....let me clarify.....$7.96 for 4 boots + $6.56 shipping + $.85 tax = $15.00 from Quadratec. The same 4 boots shipped from Amazon are $49.72 shipped ($12.43 x 4).

Meh, it really varies site to site. I wouldn't be so quick to blame "omg tariffzzz" and Bezos even though I'm not a fan of Scamazon. A lot of times the price on certain sites won't include shipping. Rockauto is one place that seems to really nail you on shipping. Their parts prices seem good until you enter the shipping. Quadratec... all I can say is good luck and hopefully you actually get the item. I used to buy a ton of stuff from there over the years, and now they are the last place I shop. The last thing I ordered from there was something pretty insignificant, like a distributor cap, because they had the best price on a good brand. Ended up with 6 months worth of e-mails about it being backordered (when it originally said it was in stock on the site) before I finally got it.

I've ever only ordered from Quadratec twice. Once several years ago, and once a couple of weeks ago. Both times I got an immediate email that the item was back ordered. The order several years ago took a couple of months, the recent one I got an email the next day that it was now back in stock and that they were shipping. I sure wouldn't order anything from them that was time sensitive...
