Am I missing an interior trim piece?

I have looked at hundreds of pictures of 06 TJ's and can't a pic of the area below and to the front of the passenger side door. Is there a trim piece that belongs in this area?

Can’t comment about the 06, but nothing there on the 2000.

Drivers side has the trim covering the harness to the rear

Mine is all black so it isn’t as attention grabbing as yellow. Black tub, black carpet, black matts….

That said, yellow is the best-est color…

You could take the driver side off, then they'll match.

ACC makes a rocker panel kit that will cover it up.

I had a Solar Yellow Rubicon years ago and agree that bright paint on the inside made the interior look unfinished.

Really every jeep made up until the four-door was about 15 years behind whatever the current technology curve was -

One of the problems is we are so used to the incredibly evolved interiors of modern cars-

To me it really is relative-as a previous CJ owner the TJ is a marvel inside and out, especially underneath. At the same time they are ultra basic by modern standards, the dash appears to be built by fisher-price, the paint is Earl Schieb, the motor goes back to the stone age, and Americans went wild and bought about 1,000,000 and we still love them to this day. They get it done.

You could clean that and use some black textured paint or undercoating and it would do wonders, or satin trim paint.

There was a time when interior carpeting was an option for Wranglers. Imagine the entire interior looking like that?

I own a 2001 solar yellow sport and I got tired of that yellow metal glaring at me. Purchased the acc pieces, matched well, would buy them again.
And I love the yellow, have any 03 white rubicon, wished it was yellow, not a big fan of white.

Oh ok. This is my first jeep, I didn't know that. Even after 2.5 years I'm still learning something new all the time about them.
