Hey everyone, i need a lift for my '99 TJ 2.5 that doesn't break the bank .. ideally a kit of 2.5" like OME but im open to new suggestions.. mostly on road and daily driven but because of my occupation, she gets off road quite often but nothing extreme.. i have a budget of around 1000€ and I need something available in Europe.. i have 31" tires and everything else is stock .. also im thinking of quick sway bar disconnects due to long driving in trails .. again nothing extreme but i heard it makes the ride feel less bumpy so i thought i give it a try ... Any suggestions? Thank you in advance

I think a body lift would suffice, you can go pretty far on 31s and no lift,I did so for a while.
Shocks are gonna be the same that you have even with a 2.5" lift,so you won't gain any down travel

But OME Is a good way to go,Same with Jks,BDS Makes some nice springs that are 100 Usd a pair, that and some disconnects would help! And you would be under 1000 Euro! Unless your shocks are worn I would get the whole kit! If not you could get away with just some disconnects and some lift springs!

If I had to start over when I was broke,i would've gone with a body lift and a T-case skid that's tucks up! That's the equivalent of a 2 inch lift in a sense but not really

Control arms if they are worn!
If you see chunks and cracks with lots of play they need to be replaced.since you're limited to 1000€ I'd do stock replacements!
They look good to me but maybe i go get it checked just in case... Perfect, thank you very much

Your welcome ✊🏼

I found some new and pretty affordable rancho rs5000x and i heard they are very good.. would you recommend keeping the stock springs with spacers or maybe you have a recommendation of good 2.5" springs? Whats your opinion on the ranchos? Sorry and thanks again 😁

Edit- Excuse the late reply,Just Got done cooking for the family and eating :D
But yes the rancho's 5000X's are great for the money,im currently running them with no issues!
Even With my spirited driving style they could be stiffer but even then they do great for what they are!
To save money You could go with spring spacers,Just check if they're sagging ! My Lj at +200k miles they didnt sag (im lying, the rear sagged about 10 mm in the back)
Check out this Link so you can measure if your springs are sagging!

For 2.5's id Use BDS springs cause they're cheap here in the States but i dont know if you guys have them over there,That brand along with "Procomp" have some quality offerings for a great price! I often see them go super cheap on Amazon sometimes :D

Dont worry at all 😊 Thank you so much, I'll check if i can find the springs

What'd you make

Some refried beans, fried em with a bit of lard, BUT First i fried onions&jalapeños (for flavor) then tossed the beans in 😋
Made some crispy redskin potatoes, tossed the taters into the Huevos con chorizo. All that along with some butter flavored tortillas from HEB 😋
Im making myself hungy again thinking about what i made 😆
And for me i have to smash up the food cause i had jaw surgery......doesn't taste the same but does taste the same if that makes sense. I cant eat that in burritos 🙃 Im about a month in post OP. from jaw surgery and i can only drink my food....But im not really following that, but this is soft food so im good !?

My wife puts bacon grease in her refried beans. Any Mexican restaurant we go to, she rates them on their beans and if they use taco seasoning, she and I only prefer straight up ground burger.
