A Story of Indecision and Frivolous Spending

Exactly! I feel like most people exhausted all the easy options and instead give up and live with it, or move on to a different vehicle. Looks like being stubborn and madly in love with the TJ might pay off in the end! :D

Yes, most people just immediately want to tell you to look at the pinion angle. Often times that is it, but in these cases, it's not. I guess if you're going to own it for as long as I plan to, you've got to figure out a way to make it last!

Just got caught upon your build. It was the thread title that hooked me and reeled me in! LOL
Dude, you got some serious stuff happening, and not all of it has been positive. Hope things get straightened out for you.

Haha, it looks like things are getting straightened out. I just had to go through that B.S. with Jeep West, which really pisses me off.

The guys who did my gears will do the rest of the work. They're 100% reliable, stick to a schedule, and will get shit done. I trust them 100%.

Alrighty, then!

Damn man. This is awful. That thing nevercsaw rain under your ownership and it’s littetally been out in the elements with no work getting done. Why would he not call you and be honest? I’d be livid. Seriously. That’s shady practice there. As for the vibes...bad things happen when we mess with something that is perfect to begin with ;) 2” lift and 32s haha

If anyone wants to kill you or @Chris and get away with it, all they have to do is throw a bucket of mud on either of your Jeeps and wait for the impending heart attack.

Trust me, I'm biting my tongue because of how much respect the guy has in the Jeep community. If this had happened to me when I was in my early twenties and a hot head, I wouldn't have the willpower I do now.

I hate mud. I understand the love for the rock crawling and the desert. It's much more pleasant than getting stuck in mud... or better yet, getting mud stuck everywhere!

Might be a dumb question but are they going to charge you a parking fee? All jokes aside some ppl might go a legal route with crap like this. What would happen if some scratches appeared that maybe weren’t there before? Hmmm when you get your jeep back I’d get to work on writing a lengthy review of that place!

That's what I have and got vibes with a regear :( but we will be trying a lot of things that haven't been tried before and hopefully find a resolution. Hold on tight ...

I haven't read what troubleshooting you've done for the vibration, but have you tried to pull the rear driveshaft and drive?

Not yet, but once I get my Jeep back in my hands, I intend to do this and troubleshoot it. Right now I haven't done anything to troubleshoot it, because it's been at Jeep West for so long.
