I'm in a conundrum. I'm hopefully going to need something with 4 seats to take off roading in the near future. My TJ is built without a back seat and putting one back in isn't possible with how I want it to be set up.

I've been looking at JK's to either build or are already built and came across this "stretched" TJ. If you look at the FB pictures, the suspension will be changed if I buy it (think ORI's and 4-link). A lot of stuff would get transferred over from my current TJ.

Does anyone have any knowledge of who did these stretches? There are several questions I have for the company who did this before I buy it.

I'd really like to stay in a TJ platform to be different than the JK's that I go with. The one concern I have with the one I posted is it doesn't have a top. I couldn't imagine what a custom top and door surrounds would cost.

If you're going to get one of these, you should probably plan to add some kind of power adder (FI) to it because I bet they're gonna suck on the highway with a stock 4.0
Highway isn't a concern. My TJ now has 5.38 gears and 37's. It would spend its time on a trailer to/from the trail. The only road it would see was from the campground to the trail.

Did you want the armored version?

I like that one better with the shortened rear doors, doesn't seem so absurdly long.

I wouldn't be able to wheel the thing posted in the OP in any of the places I go and have any fun. It's either switchbacks in CO or trees in OK.

I sent the seller several questions, one was the wheelbase. He said it measured to 122.5". That's 6.5" longer than a JK but almost 15" shorter than a JT.

We were out in Ouray, CO last month and a company called Switzerland of America Jeeps had a 4d TJ conversion they were looking to get rid of. You may want to give them a call if the original one falls through. The company that did theirs was TCV as well.

It was a bit rough, but still a cool rig.
