I appreciate the effort, but feel they missed the mark by not calling it a Ranch Wagon. Country Squires were four doors. . . .
CTS Sport wagon... They sold about 7k of them over 5 year production, not a bad run for a hot rod family wagon... Still like the 2 door styling better.
Don't forget the GTO "Judge" side stripes...I'm seeing some first generation Monte Carlo with 1972 Chevelle turn signals beside those 1971 Chevelle headlights. It took my quite some time to figure out the fender "vents" and I think the closest I can get to those would probably be the C3 Corvette but stacked instead.
Yep. The Mustang wagon, Camaro wagon, Firebird wagon, Corvette wagon...all interesting, and yet somehow, kind of hard to look at.

Well, sort of. The Country Squire was originally a 2-door wagon in '50 and '51. After that, as far as I recall, all of them were 4-door wagons.I appreciate the effort, but feel they missed the mark by not calling it a Ranch Wagon. Country Squires were four doors. . . .
In the spirit of "one-upmanship"...I took my driving test in my Mom's 1976 Country Squire wagon. Green with brown simulated paneling and a big block. You should've seen me parallel park that land yacht like a boss!
Oh, hell yeah!!!In the spirit of "one-upmanship"...A 1987 F-350 Crew Cab Dually is what I took my drivers test in...

I owned a white '62, and a 4-door '61. Here's my buddy's '61 under construction. It's got a 401 tunnel-rammed dual quad set-up, backed by a 4-spd and a Ford 9" rear end. Good stuff, Maynard!Talking of 2 door station wagons...mmmm Rambler...loved this one by Martin Bros in Texas... @Squatch ?
