I am doing a Hemi swap sometime in November. I am waiting on my harness and will pull everything when it comes in. I purchased this LJ earlier this year and did a bunch of maintenance items. New Denso radiator and hoses, thermostat etc. New sparkplugs. Wranglerfix ECU. Flowmaster Y-pipe and cats. Amsoil oil. Engine just turned 180,000 and runs very nice. The auto tranny was professionally rebuilt about 16000 miles ago and I have the paperwork on it from the PO. Installed a temp gauge, new filter and Amsoil. No issues. Transfer case works as it should.
Not sure why I am doing this as this combo with 34 inch tires and 4.56 gears does everything I want it to. Reading these forums leads you down some interesting rabbit holes.
Engine with radiator and y-pipe $1000. If you buy the engine and want the tuned Wranglerfix ECU it will be another $500. Mark will transfer your VIN, just pay shipping.
Tranny $1000
231 transfer case $250
If someone buys the engine and tranny the transfer case is free.
I can send pics/videos if needed but hopefully someone is close enough to come and drive it. I am midway between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
