Ready to go. Original built by Moab 4x4 with many m40 parts. Jeep is fully sorted and ready to go. Owned this Jeep almost 10 years. Used in Moab, hot springs, Jeep jamborees. Can drive 1,000 miles, wheel, and drive home. Built as an adventure rig using parts typically available at any auto parts store.

Yes a Dana 60 was used in the rear of some 1ton trucks as far as I know but I've been proven mistaken too many times.

I think you’re right.

I’m not sure what the builder was thinking with having a stronger front axle than the rear.

One thing that's confusing about the Dana 60 axles is that a Dana 60 in front is usually considered a 1 ton axle, and a Dana 60 in the rear is usually considered a 3/4 ton axle.
