06 fog light wiring

Have everything except the wires that connect the lights to the harness plug under the front fenders. Do they sell the harness (2 wires and plug connector) or should I just clip the connector off and splice the (new) lights in?

Which ends do you need? The male or female?

Doesn't the 06 have the female on the body harness? So male would be on the plug for the lights.

I found broken fog lights at a wrecking yard (factory ones) and used the connectors on them to splice to my new fogs. That way I didn't have to do any cutting of the factory wiring harness.

Well. I wast trying to help you. If you would answer my f-ing question. Lol

Asking cause I bought a set of original fogs off member here and I think they were from a 06 and I think they had the males on them which my 99 had males on the body just the opposite. So I have those ones I took off of the 06 lights somewhere here but they may only have a 1-2" of wire and the plug.

I responded as soon as I could. I'm only on this site during coffee time. I know some check thru out the day. Nothing personal. And it has the female side wired in the fender. Then realised that whit my with my aftermarket bumper I'd need extensions too. Only found them for $30+ from terraflex.
Just going to splice in snugpack connectors and sidestep the whole thing.

Thinking switch to LED headlights too. Can't afford the good ones though.

Ok, well I'm pretty sure the ones I took off those 06 lights I bought were the male ends what you would need. I can take a look when I get home and if you are up to or don't mind just soldering on the extension wires(like I said I think I only left an 1"or 2" on the plug) so they reach from you fender plug to your light however much you need to add since you stated you needed extensions anyhow you are welcome to the ones I got if you want to keep it plug-n-play with stock harness. If not that's cool if your gonna go with led's and will be switching all your wiring anyhow.

Have a whole snugpac connector kits. They are already paid for. I'm going to just wire them in. Probably a better way than the stock harness plug anyway. Thanks guys.
