It was this way when I bought it minus the leak. I noticed it today. I started it to warm up an defrost and when I went back outside I saw drops of fluid on the driveay under the bumper. WTF? So the fan was blowing it out I guess. Short of putting a new line set on this any ideas how to rig it better? The other side is not leaking at all with the same connection. This side was not leaking last I was under it. Wonder what the story behind this is??? Radiator is "newer" but still no clue why you would cut this insted of just disconnecting it from the radiator. Is it possible the radiator had a connection that did not match the stock line set?

Good Call. As far as I can tell that is the only place it is leaking. In theory this setup should work. The line pressure cannot be very high.

Being I have a can of trans cooler fittings, I doubt you'll be able to get the line over that one. IIRC those fittings are basically just a straight fitting with that single ridge and its pretty big. I think they are designed for the plastic snap on type lines. Me personally Id pull that fitting, hit up a hardware store that sells brass fittings, and get a male thread by male barb of the correct size. Then use fuel injection type clamps, not the worm drive ones like you have. Im about 100% sure the second one you have on the line isnt even on metal either.
