    I prefer silicone too. I did learn however that you can poison your O2 sensors with silicone...so use motor oil for injector o-rings, as an example, per the FSM. -Mac

    WD-40 is the right answer. Probably have some grit in there...keep hosing it off... maybe wiggle and spray. You sure that safety tab is all the way out? -Mac

    My unlearned opinion is that they're trending below .9v and ok. Yes there is a much more complicated answer. -Mac

    Spec is .006 to .010. Put the pinion shims back to .22. That put the backlash to .010. Pattern shows too close again. Think I need to adjust the carrier bearing shims. -Mac
