I have heard nothing but good things about JB conversions.

Noticed they offer a super short SYE that looks outstanding which allows for an even longer driveshaft. Having a longer driveshaft is far less likely to have have vibrations due less angle to reach the rear axle. It should also have less stress on the joints.

It does require a digital calibrator to correct the speedometer if running bigger tires or changing differential gear ratios. Not a deal killer to me. This sucker is short.

The JB Conversions SS SYE is now on my list to purchase. Unless anyone can offer otherwise. It is $100 more than a standard SYE at $299. Anyone here running this kit?

want...

my UCF extra clearance skid/lopro trans mount has been sitting in the garage just waiting for the budget to grow big enough to allow for the purchase of one of these JB SS SYE kits and an appropriate driveshaft...I'm running a standard AA SYE (gear driven speedo) and a woody's shaft in my YJ with the same skidplate, so I've been wanting to see what the extra driveshaft length from the use of the SS kit will be like as far as vibes go with equal lift...though it won't be an apples to apples comparison, with the YJ running a Brown Dog 1" MML and the TJ getting the lopro trans mount, it will still be interesting to see which combo handles the vibes the best
