New Ford Bronco

Even the JL doesn't have that crap standard - but its probably the ONLY vehicle left here that is that way.

Funny thing, here the dealerships wont even sell the base model anymore, if you actually go and ask for a “base” model JL for example, their “base” model come with power window/lock and touchscreen... You would have to ask and hope the dealer is willing to put the order, then wait 4-8months and still pay 4-6k above conus price.

A Rubicon Gladiator is about 65k here.... there almost no gladiator around. The pic is from the local dealers just to give an idea. Those pricess are after “small” downpayment

I remember having a conversation with a friend, back in the 70's, about power doorlocks and windows. The jist of the discussion was, how lazy to you have to be, to need this type of power. Fast forward to today, like Zorba, my Jeep is the only vehicle with manual locks and windows.

We can't even opt out of the touch screen, our benevolent OverLords have decreed that Americans all must have backup cameras - I guess because they are of the impression that most people can't back up. They're not all wrong unfortunately, people here are too busy looking at smartphones to even be able to drive forward! And yea, finding a dealership who will actually put in an order is a challenge here as well. As far as I'm concerned, all vehicles should be BTO.

Nah, Jeep can do nothing and coast on their current popularity with no worries from the Bronco.

And I have faith Ford can fuck this up, lol.
Sure you’ll have the diehard Jeep guys that don’t want to cheat on the beloved brand....and then you’ll have the other 60-70% of the people who could give 2 shits if the bronco had IFS and will gladly jump ship for something different and better road manners. We shall see!

Live in a forestry financed (mostly) town. Many 4x4 trucks . . .
That Gladiator is laughed at here. The big Ram/Jeep dealership has a bunch of Gladiators that they can't even give away.
Jeep shot themselves in both feet.
Ugly vehicle . . .

I like how they moved the reveal back from July 9th to July 13th because O.J. Simpson's birthday is July 9th. 🤭
Yeah, I heard they also cancelled one of their special editions, already. It only came in white, with a black interior. With the purchase, you also got a pair of driving gloves and a set of knives. I heard they cancelled it because it had braking problems. Seems it couldn't stop, even at the leisurely speed of 35 mph...

Oh wow lol

We should start a pool like: Guess the number of TSB's year one and year two. Predictions for recalls and bonus: How many specialty service tools will be required to perform routine maintenance.

If it’s half as many as the JL it’s still going to be too many. You couldn’t pay me to buy one yet. They are still working crap out
