What did you do to your TJ today?

Haha. I think I’ll let it stay clean for at least a couple of weeks.
Black TJ's (or most cars) look sooo good when they are clean and polished, unfortunately they don't stay that way for long. This time of year I can spend 6 hours on my wife's car and 10 minutes later it is covered in yellow pollen.

I’ve had a black car before. Never again if I can help it. Has to be a ridiculously good deal.

Ordered a new trans tunnel plate. Which should give me some more room for tummy tucking without a tall body lift. Shooting for a flat belly..eventually. This will be just an experiment.

Is sure looks nice and clean. Cant wait to check it out in person. Would be cool if they flipped it so the passenger side had some extra room, would make a Dana 300 swap even more favorable.

Installed the Poison Spyder 42-11-044-PC Dana 44 Diff Cover on my 2003 Rubi TJ. Everything was straight forward. I had also installed a Currie CE-9701 system a while back that I shared in another post. The cover fits nicely behind it at full L/R turn. The fill plug is at proper hight (read somewhere that olders covers were not). It came with Grade-8 bolts and washers and black silicone which all worked fine but I'm going to swap out bolts for onyx black and a lubelocker gasket later. I wanted to see if I liked the look and do not.

I also used used Royal Purple ROY01301 MAX GEAR 75W140.

The kit did NOT come with a proper bracket to remount/relocate the Dana electrical connection so I had to quickly fab one which works fine. I had a lumber connector flat sheet and I made a template from the old cover and cut it out as outlined — simple and done.

Also you cannot remount the gearing tags due to cover design differences.

Yea I almost hate to have the top down in the spring here in Alabama because of the pollen. It’s been parked in the Garage for two days. Haha

Same issue down here too...(although not now, as its Autumn :( )...my neighbours tree is the main culprit. I'd love to cut it down in the middle of the night haha that stuff gets everywhere, especially after a tropical shower and the Jeep is still wet.….The struggle is real ;)
