Ok, I ran the numbers as best as I could to see how the Nth rear axle relocation for the UCA and LCA and how it affects a jeep like my LJ. UCA length is calculated at 14.25, LCA was 16.25. Tire height was left at 28" and the radius was 13.3. So I had a hard time measuring the track bar but I got close numbers. Now I just dont know what the spread sheet is telling me. Would the jeep be stable or not?

I am about to put my Jeep under the knife. I am going to wing it on the LCA from pics on the net and I have some axle UCA mounts that will have 4 holes 1" apart. The bottom hole will be in stock location and 3 above. Can you share the dimensions you have?

Been a long time since I played with a calculator. When I did the links on my samurai was about 8 years ago. I have never measured and ran the numbers on a TJ, but it still amazes me that a lifted tj drives as well as it does with the angles of the links the way they are.

From the top of the axle tube , to the center of the upper control arm bolt , in the bracket , 7 inches .

I have the Nth Degree template so you don't have to try and wing it. I've already loaned it to one forum member. The deal is he will mail it to you and then you mail it to the next person who wants to use it. So on and so on. When there isn't anyone else who would like to use it just mail it back to me. The member was going to do a report on how he felt about it as to if it helped any.

Boulder bars has the templates for sale, just call them, they had like 15 of them when I bought mine back in December.

Why not just post it on the forum in it's own thread so that way it's there for anyone who ever searches for it?

I only ask because with Nth Degree having gone down the shitter (several times), I think it might help to have information like this out in the open where it's always easily accessible. Just a thought.

WOW! I was thinking 2" above stock, which is about 5 3/8". I'll set my top hole at 7". Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the offer Wildman, I would like to be put on the list of traveling template.

I was just replying to this thread @Chris since they were talking about it. I was waiting for the member I loaned it to make a thread. He is trying it out for a few weeks and then was going to post if he noticed a difference. I can't say if it helps as I never drove my TJ with the Nth Degree kit before I did the shift. He has and so I was just waiting. I made a copy of the directions when I sent it to him. Once he reports on if it did or didn't help with his suspension a thread was going to be made.

Gotcha! No worries, I was just curious. I think something like that would be tremendously helpful, especially as the TJs get older and information like this gets lost to the sands of time :)

I am wondering how the Nth design will compare to what others are doing for modifications. I was thinking that Jeeps west is doing something similar...Tim

I agree. I have a binder with the instructions plus the receipts for most of the stuff I have done to my TJ. Help a guy out a few days ago on the Wrangler forum when he was asking about the Premier Power Welder wiring.
