I thought I'd be good with the BL and MML......I was not! lol I think I'll try to get in there and clean it up a bit, but I may just leave it. As long as it doesn't seem to have issues cooling. Or maybe radius a piece of aluminum and rivet it to the outside of the shroud. I think that would still give enough clearance. But odds are, the trail fix will become a permanent fix lol

My shroud on the Silver Fox had a split all the way through right on top dead center. I drove hundreds of miles with it like that, including our wheeling trip that one time. I did just what you said, a piece of aluminum bent to the shape of the shroud, then put some bolts and nuts and now it’s very solid.
