Is there any way to tell if the opda in my 05 is a stock or aftermarket unit without removing it?

Just bought the rig from the third owner and he doesn’t know if it has ever been replaced.

It should have a label on it like this:

Disregard all the writing on that picture. It's from a thread I made recently comparing the OEM OPDA to the Crown OPDA.

Mine (2005) shown installed at 92K total miles, which I believe is OEM. I do have a new Crown P/N 53010624AC (from Amazon) ready in reserve, however no "laughing monkeys" , so I'm continuing with this old one...

Ok thanks guys.

I’ll look for the tag once it comes back from getting an MVI done to get the ownership changed to my name.
