I apparently bought some CF stuff prior and forgot I had it. Haven't tried it yet.
Nothing is more annoying than wanting to print something and not having material you need.
You have to be on it to find it. That site, along with several others, is blocked at my firewall.You don't need to be. I'm not on it, never have been, never will be. But I know someone who is, so if I see something, I say something...
That reminds me, I wanted to buy an HT. I just printed out those speaker spacers in PETG because I was too lazy to dry out my ABS-GF.
Speaking of bad influences, I’d like some more guidance from the experts. Given I’m just getting into this, can anyone recommend a good set of filaments to start out with on the Bambu HD2?
I’m sure at some point I’ll get into objects which require more durable material, but certainly at first I’ll just be playing around with the thing. I’ll see all the grandkids over the Christmas holiday, and know LJ would love to see something printed for him.

If you want to print random trinkets, toys etc to get the feel for it just use PLA.

Well, since this has turned into a non-jeep related 3D printing thread, I guess I'll chime in.
I'm definitely a cheap mofo, so for Christmas everyone is getting 3D printed foldable phone stands. I know, a lot of people already have Popsockets or kickstands on their phone. Well, they can just re-gift these to someone in need. These phone stands are like fruitcakes in that they are the gift that keeps on getting re-given but without the nasty unidentifiable green things inside.

Looking good! I've been batch printing more damn dogs for family and friends. But I guess you're right, is there an off-topic "what random 3D shit are you printing" thread we should be dumping all this into, instead? lol

This thread is really a 3D printing catch all thread as we have Jeep specific, printer specific and random printing info being shared.
I follow that one, as well, and have made some meager contributions. lol
As long as nobody is offended by us going off-topic occasionally here ... but to stay on brand, I can always glue my PLA dog to my dashboard.
I think it's better to have an active thread than a dead one which is what I believe we'd see if it's only TJ specific.
I'm sure The Zorbster will love his...
