What have you 3D printed for your TJ?

I think you have it backwards. Compared to one of these high end printers, mine is crippled and limited - just like a smartphone.

since you can print from your smartphone

You can, but fortunately you don't have to. :geek:

As long as they don't require a smartphone - or the cloud - its all good.

Find an inexpensive used P1S or X1C in your area. You can run it LAN only without the need for either. (y)

I just searched FB Marketplace for Bambu Lab printers within 40 miles of zip 32952, at least two P1S printers under $400 and a couple of X1C's at or under $700.

I'm in no way ready for a higher end printer - and may never be. But that's good advice, I'll certainly keep it in mind. FB, of course, doesn't do me any good...

Hello all. Another print...

I have a VHF Radio (Kenwood TM-271) mounted on the Jeep, behind the transmission shifter.
Here in Chile there is a lot of car theft, and considering now it's summer and i leave the Jeep parked without top, i decided to make a cover for the radio so it looks like a vent or something like that and also protects it from. Or something. A vent actually has slits completely through. This looks like an amp worth breaking into your jeep to steal. You'd be better off covering your radio with an empty box of Ritz crackers.

You don't need to be. I'm not on it, never have been, never will be. But I know someone who is, so if I see something, I say something... 😀

I just ordered an AMS HT (finally) and noticed they're now selling an updated P1S called the P2S with some nice updates, new for $549. Hard to beat for the money.

Speaking of BL and their BF sale, I had 3 rolls of ASA CF in my cart for just a few minutes and when I went to check out, it automatically cut my order back to one roll. Point being, looks like a fair few of their filaments are now either out of stock or backordered.

Do you know if that bulk discount for filament is always there or is part of the sale?

When it's cheap, stack it deep.

I was trying to do that on a smaller scale, but I waited too long before buying. Had the cart loaded for over a week now, just didn't get around to actually placing the order. I just started using the ASA-CF and quite like it, saving over $7 per roll seemed like a pretty good deal.
