Yeah, saw that. Looks like just a little damage to the box - nothing seems to be torn up inside.
But, maybe sometime when Santa is not around I'll pop the cover just to make sure.
Onto the naughty list

Yeah they pack them well mine was fine even though they obviously didn't (couldn't?) read the labelling on the box whatsoever
Seems if you mark a parcel as fragile, it just gives them license to drop kick the thing at least once during its journey. If you send something heavy, every handler will curse your name and treat your parcel worse than a stubborn rented mule.
Report back on those HTs, I keep considering at least one...

FWIW, just to make you more stressed and worried, when my x1c showed up the box had similar damage. Door was shattered.
OK, OK, OK - Jeeze....
Nina is out, so I cracked it open. No "Dale Earnhardting" present.

Great packaging too. Pulled the 4 little locking tabs at the bottom of the box and the top comes right off. Also made it easy to put it all back together so no suspicion from Santa...
And in related news, I've started getting into Fusion 3D, and am liking it a lot coming over from Sketchup. Did a quick model of the Toy Box I'm about to start. Now I just need to figure out how to do some hand-carving in Fusion...

It also occurred to me that with Fusion, I can easily 3D print a little model. Man, that would be a bunch quicker than doing it in wood...![]()
I've been printing for a while, mostly single color stuff, some multi-colored keychains where I'd just pause the printer at the appropriate height and manually swap to a second or third color. Finally upgraded to my fourth printer, the H2S w/ AMS. While I'm not too keen on plastic trinkets and mainly print functional things, I decided to play around with Bambu's MakerLab to print a cartoonized version of my dog.
To say I was unprepared for the amount of waste that a four-inch tall dog would generate would be an understatement, and I've been 3D printing for over ten years.
That said, I know I could have printed out a dozen of them at the same time and generated the same amount of waste, but then I'd have 11 more of these things.
For those that have said they're waiting for the H2C, good call.I won't say I'm never going to do something like this again, but I'll likely avoid it whenever possible.
