What did you do to your TJ today?

Sliders are prepped and ready for the weld on rail. Next Thursday we’re cutting this beam in half on a vertical bandsaw. Then I’ll line up the tub and slider holes and prep the rail for welding. For now it’s rust free and weld thru primed along the upper edge where the rail will be welded and self etch primed everywhere else.

you must be an Engineer. The metric system is an arbitrary and non-reality based system. It’s “easy” for calculations but not “easy” to relate to reality. Nobody in the US sees 279cm. They convert it to ft. in. to see it.

Installed a Warn 9.5xp and converted it to synthetic with the help of a friend. The line speed is very impressive.

I was able to get the tapered buried tail properly captured before the storm hit, but I'll need to fix the sloppy looking outer layer once things dry up.

Sorry, we did not get to all of the trails. We got out and walked a lot and visited with other folks who were trailriding. Some came all the way from Louisiana.

I'm fine with picking one or the other. I can't stand mixing them up.

When I was designing, people would use a 60' diameter bearing and a 120 meter boom.

Or use 30' boom sections but the drawings were done in metric so they'd say 9.14 m instead of designing a 10 m section.

I like to use metric talk at work with certain people just to get them fired up.

I don’t care either way really, but don’t like mixing them up either.

Its in the gas station on the rim. Of course I haven't ridden any of the trails up there.
