I am taking it slow to replace inner driveshaft seals. Jeep is jacked and on stands. Axles are pulled on both sides. Differential cover is pulled and drained. I need to drop the tie rod on driver side in order to pull the carrier from the differential. I removed the cutter pin, removed the castle nut but can't get it to drop. Ive tapped it with a hammer and nothing. Do I need to loosen the other side where its bolted to the drag link? Hope I'm using the right names here. Yellow is what im wondering needs to be loosened. Red is what im trying to get dropped. 20250915_131859.jpg

Got it. Boot was already trashed. For future would a c shape puller be better and somthing to have around?
