A/C high and low pressure Schrader valve hissing and freon leaking when taking off sensor

Hey everyone!

New to the Jeep life, have been doing alot of the work myself using the Forums and other threads/YT to get somethings working and i have ran across a issue i can't really find anywhere. I was having AC issues and it looked to be a Bad Relay and Both the High and Low pressure sensors, so i replaced all three today and seems like the AC Compressor and system is working correct now but when i took off each of the Sensors the Valves started letting pressure out and spraying Freon all of the place. Does this mean the Valve is bad? Has anyone seen these before?
 
The Schraeder valves inside the sensor ports should seat when the sensor is removed. You can take a small screw driver and depress the center point of the schraeder in an attempt to reseat them.
IF you cannot get them to reseat; then they will need to be replaced.
 
I could not get them to reseat, was actually really hard to get the sensor back on with the pressure and the o Ring. Does anyone have a part number for both of these? Any reason why both would be bad? Is it easy to swap these Valves out? Thanks for your help so fast!

Generally the schraeders will screw out with a tool and both can be purchased at the local Auto Parts store; the tool may even come with the new schraeder valves.

You could try tightening the valve. You'll need a core removal/installation tool to do it. inexpensive at ta parts store. If I remember correctly, the one in front of the valve cover only requires a regular tool, but the one over on the side needs one with a longer reach.
 
The High Pressure Sensor is in the front behind the Power steering so that would be easy its the Low pressure one im not to sure on as its almost on the back wall. Is this the right tool and Valve types? i saw a couple different Valves

I just realized you have a right hand drive. The A/C lines are set up differently than my '06 left hand drive.

Haha Yes! My wife is from the UK and this makes it easier for her, Nice Beach/Trail Jeep for us :) I will say Parts are harder to find and are wayyyy more expensive and ended up all the time with wrong parts. That's why i wanted to make sure those are the right Valves haha! I will go to the Parts store in the morning and get the 2 valves and tool. Hopefully that works, I will need to get the system emptied out right and then refill with R-134A?

Taking a Closer look at the Valves, those Silver ones do not look like the right ones, the ones inside of the Sensors are a Brass color and have a different tip then the Silver ones.
 
Yes, you'll need to refill the system when you're done. I'm not sure about the ones with the switches. Thinking back on it now, mine was leaking from the core that just has a black plastic cap on it. There may be a difference in size between some of the cores, I don't know.
 
I got all the Valves changed today! The low sensor one was a bit hard to do but i got it.
All the pressure was let out tho, Do i just recharge the system or should i go to a AC shop and he it Flushed first?

The system needs to be placed in a vacuum to boil off all the moisture and then can be recharged with approximately 20 oz of R134a.
IF you are not experienced with evacuating and recharging; then it would be better left to a technician.
IF you have some experience or a friend that is experienced; you will need a vacuum pump, gauge manifold and a couple cans of refrigerant.

Hello! My '02 has a leak at the pressure switch valve on the high side. I bought a sniffer and bam it went crazy at that port. The tool I chose has the wrong sized valve cores because they are for the fill ports. Did you have a part you can share for the pressure switch sized valve cores and possibly the O ring size as well?
