I'd like to hear how you like the hand throttle - I was thinking this would be a good idea having a manual Trans.
Having had one I will be glad to tell you it is fantastic and to many people essential Offroad.
I've been back and forth on one to tide me over until I auto swap the transmission.
I put one together from a bicycle shifter- I took the guts out so it was essentially all spring action from the throttle return spring
I loved it and found that it really made a difference - especially on the trail-
Plus it was nice if you had to back up a hill.
Some folks love them in traffic that is crawling as well.
They take the “bouncing foot on the throttle” on rough trails out of the equation. You may be surprised how well you like it.

A guy I wheel with said he took a brake handle from a bicycle and just crimped the cable to the throttle cable at the throttle pedal on his, before he v8 swapped.
Just put it in, so I haven't tested it out on the trail yet, but I'm anticipating good things. I word to the wise, make sure your cable is 5 feet long or more
I have a new in the box hand throttle you can have.

Took advantage of the Bestop sale to upgrade to sailcloth. Bonus, no tramp stamp.
So today was a good day to just go for a drive after work and enjoy the weather. Before going I did spray the squeaky seats with silicone spray and took the awful bug deflector off.

Do you have a window sleeve option that you like for storing and transporting the windows? I saved an option listed on retail site that seems to be liked more than the bestop option. I needed to stop bleeding cash so I haven’t gotten it yet.
