I bought the Jeep with these fenders on it, and one of my side markers has gone out. I tried replacing the bulb inside and no luck there. The wires appear to be getting 12v, so I'm guessing that the side marker assembly needs to be replaced. The problem is, I believe they may have came with the fenders by the way the fit and I can't find anything to fit in it's place... especially not LED (and I'd prefer not having to rewire).

The light is 4.5" in length, and 4" screw hole to screw hole and about 1.25" tall.

If I could determine the manufacturer of the fenders, I might be able to contact them (if they're still in business ofc). I'm open to rigging another style of side marker if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Maybe this ?
Edit- Also try cleaning the inside of the light bulb contacts they could be corroded ?

Hey thanks, I appreciate the reply!

That's the closest in shape that I've seen. But it would be too short overall, to make use of both screws anyway. Also, the way that it screws in first, with the lens going on after, might make it very difficult if not impossible to use in the tight space given.

I will certainly try cleaning the contact inside.

If you have power and a good bulb have you checked the ground Connection. I think you just got a little corrosion in there and not getting a good connection. But since you have the light of and the leads are long enough just jumper it to the Jeep battery posts to confirm the fixture is working.

So this thing was/is in pretty bad shape inside. I cleaned out a lot of rust, mud and dirt. The screw holding in the red wire was completely rusted out, so I replaced it. But the socket itself was also broken from the assembly, so I'm not 100% that this is even setup correctly. But as it is, when I jumper it to the car battery, I get no illumination.

That looks pretty tired, re look at D’s light he posted see if lines up with the light you have- it looks so close and maybe you swap over the black pedestal as that looks to be two separate pieces.

Mine was so rusted out that once I opened it up, all sorts of crap fell out. The one D posted appears to be a single wire but I suppose I could always buy any two wire and just swap out in innards. 🤷‍♂️

I'm kinda set that the ones i showed you may be it ? You could solder a ground wire from the ground strap on the light assembly to make it work ?

And here's the dimensions of the light from Grotes website

Thank you, hopefully this will help.

edit: Also, since the marker hides behind the fender. I don't think the shape is too important, so long as it fills the space.

Pt.2 Of me being stubborn and set that these are the ones.....just need to do some work to add a wire from the ground strap of the light assembly so you can then have a 2 wire deal ! I wonder if X fender flare got them made by "Grote" themselves and had them converted by them maybe ? But by the looks of it,It looks like someone came i and did their own work to those light fixtures? Ain't no telling until someone else finds the exact ones or you do some work to the ones i got linked above
I mean look at it 😆....They look the same the same😆

Edit- With that said, Goodnight and Merry Christmas and happy HondaDays ...🤣

Thank you, I really appreciate your time & effort. I will spend my next few days off digging some more. If all else fails, I think I will just grab that one and see what I can do with it.

Merry Christmas and Happy HondaDays to you as well!

If you have a Truck Pro of Fleet Pride near you they should be able to match it up.

Hey, thank you. I've never heard of either outfit, but apparently they're both in the Denver Metro area. I managed to do a hack job with a soldering iron and got it working. We'll see how long it lasts.
But I will try to get into one of those shops and see if they can offer any assistance before ordering something offline.

Merry Christmas!

My rigged light is still working somehow. But I stumbled came across the manufacturer of the fenders and they sell the side markers - at a hefty cost however.
But I just wanted to update in the unlikely event that someone else comes across these fenders/side markers.. and for my own sake.

The flat fender flare manufacturer is Xenon and the link to the side marker is:
