Hi, new jeep owner so unsure what to do here. Bought this 99 TJ last week. Noticed that there is a gap between rear window and door. Is this just broken and I would need a new rear part? Or is there anything else recommended to fix this? Water leaks through when it snows 😑 thank you!

Thats whats supposed to be there. Window has a rail for lack of a better name that slides in the open channel on the tailgate rail. Rail then slips into a stamped bracket that goes on each side of the tub and holds the back window down and in place. When the tail gate is closed it will seal against the gate rail seal. Is your top a Bestop or??

Additionally, when assembled correctly, you shouldn't need the non-oem seal that's on the tailgate.

Welcome
