White wheels: cool or lame?

Buy whatever appeals to YOU.

White wheels look better than black wheels on ~80% of OEM Jeep colors, with the exceptions being white, silvers, and maybe beiges. But blues, maroons, greens, a white wheel and tan top is the go to combination. Especially when you get them a little muddy.

Here is my 99 medium fern green metallic with spray painted matte white $50 tactik steelies.

I feel like the tire carrier needs addressing….

Yea it’s definitely on the list. I was mostly trying to make the existing door work out while making other upgrades. Debating between a swing out tire carrier or a tub mount. The departure angle isn’t as bad as it looks from that angle but I’d like to replace that pipe bumper and shorten the exhaust.

Nothing’s competing with that in the looks category. Classic

I just painted the 15" steelies on my '04 Rubicon this weekend for that old CJ sort of look. Added the polished stainless center caps. I also switched out the Jeep logo for white and removed the Rubicon emblem (considering replacing it with red??). I was following this thread and a few others on different forums before pulling the trigger and I'm happy with how it turned out.
