2005 LJ
A/C does not blow very cold anymore (it used to), especially on a 90 degree day. 60 degrees at the vent.
Low side pressure: 42 High side pressure: 270 Both pressures are in the range shown in the service manual.
What do I diagnose next? The service manual suggests too much oil, which is unlikely given is used to work and no service was done. Blend door which I confirmed is working.
I also get an excessive amount of condensation dripping on the ground when parked, more than I used to on a hot day.
I thought I would just evacuate the system and refill and see if that fixes it? Ideas?
I also figured if I am going to evac the system, I would replace the accumulator/dryer. Every part I find online or in the store has the low-pressure switch on the accumulator/dryer. My switch is inline on the pipe. Even the service manual shows the pressure switch on the accumulator/dryer. Any experience with this (2005 LJ)?
All the parts I find have the port for the pressure switch.
