You could use some penetrating epoxy. It’s what they use on boat stringers and stuff to really protect wood.
Never said it did. IMO it’s the best at protecting the board.
What am I trying to protect it from? Maybe I'm not understanding all this but I was just asking what to paint the wood with. It's not like I'm going to be soaking the board in water. If that was to happen the amps would most likely be ruined.
I forgot that it never rains in Washington.
You should be good to rub it down with the shoe polish color of your choice.
You're making it sound like I was going to be drenching the board weekly in saltwater or a river.... Don't be a FUCKING ASS
Yes it rains here but I also don't plan on just leaving the back open, I'll have a duster on to keep the back covered. If the board was getting as wet as you implied the amps would be ruined way before the board was waterlogged.
Damn I thought I was asking a simple question and it gets turned into a fucking week long project... Sorry for asking.
My point is I’d spend the $15 on a rattle can of bedliner and protect the wood.
Moisture in the air and such happen, wood can be a sponge.
This summer it rained while my Jeep was wearing the Trektop in safari mode, no windows and I also had my duster on. Somehow the duster channeled water right to my rear cup holders and filled them with water. Things get wet when you don’t expect them to.
Easier to do it now than regret it later.
It's OK....
I used to LOVE playing with a Claymore... And using the clacker to light up your buddy in the middle of the night...![]()
The clacker was the device that you squeezed to set off the claymore. It's a electronic device and puts out a small electrical charge. Just enough when connected to someone's toes to wake them up...
Edit: This was what a clacker was. It was ONE of the ways to ignite the claymore.

crazy reaction to a few suggestions. I say paint it black, then stencil “Cornholio” onto it.
Jeremy sees a red door and wants to paint it black….
Merry Christmas, Richardo.

Did something to my back yesterday so I spent most of the night awake and fighting to get comfortable. So doubt I'll get anything done today.
Ugh! Been there........
This has helped me if it's a muscle thing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MQ2BQI/?tag=wranglerorg-20
IT's a combo of a few things. I've got two compressed discs and pinched nerves. I've got one of those massage belts that has heat too and it'll help some of the time. Other times it's the nerve acting up.
Dude, you are in a Mell of a Hess!
