Wildman's TJ is getting a face lift

Good machine shops seem to be going away. It really is a shame too but I guess there just isn't the demand for them anymore. Since everything is pretty much throw away.

There used to be a good one over by Covington but it's gone now.

Started working on the wiring for all the lights and other things I'm going to connect to the Auxbeam switch panel. Got the relay panel mounted onto the grille support.

Added a heavy wire into the PDC and connected it to the relay panel instead of using the circuit breaker supplied with the kit. Still need to connect the ground cable and run the switch panel wiring. Then got the wiring for the bumper lights and windshield lights fished thru the looming material.

Had some other chores to do today so this was as far as I got.

Finally got out to the garage and worked on the wiring some more.

Used bullet connectors off the lights and then covered in looming.

Have you considered a cabin air filter? Or is that exactly what I’m seeing in that pic?

I’ve had this one saved in my cart for some time now:

I'm wearing a different LEG for the next two weeks... This is the study leg I'm wearing for the study that I'm involved with form the Seattle CLIMB Center. I have to keep track of my steps for each day plus the amount of socks that I have to wear. When I return to the VA on Wednesday 3 Jan I'll spend a few hours walking on the treadmill. They have sockets that have sensors in the bottom that measure how much force I'm applying to the base as I walk.

Then on Friday 5 Jan I'm heading over to the UofWA for a different study where they are using sensors implanted into the liner & the socket to measure how much movement there is of the residual limb inside the socket under different conditions.

What's all this mean? AS I volunteer for these studies I get compensated so this is JEEP PARTS MONEY .....

I'll admit I cheaped out when buying these. I really do like the Lux lights and was going to buy them but instead I got these Opt-7 lights on sale for a great price.

I've got boring plan ol' White lights as I wasn't interested in the RGB deal since I just wanted them to lite up under the Jeep and wasn't going to try to have a disco with my Jeep.
I haven't had rock lights on a rig since my Samurai (1996-99) so this is a new deal for me. If these don't perform how I would like I can always remove them and upgrade to the Lux lights. No doubt they are a better light.

I just got the white also. I like how easy they are to install.

If I'm remembering discussions correctly @Apparition has the Lux lights on his LJ also but I think he has the RGB version? He recommended the Lux lights also. We'll see how these work and if they are bright enough or not.

They look good under your rig. That is enough light.
