Beach Jeep Mods

I'd say it's time for some welding then. Possible weld some washers into place that the bolt could slide through.

Making progress. Haven't done any adjustments or got the track bar hooked up yet. I may be jumping the gun but driveshaft is too long. I'll put on the tires tomorrow and get the track bar where it needs to be and go from there. I think I better get new bump stops these are rotted away!

All the things I accomplished this weekend then this little screw almost ruined it all. Bought some easy outs and will try tomorrow to get it out

You know how I managed to get my stripped allen screw out? I hammered a torx bit into it (really hard) and then attached my ratchet to it. Sure as shit, that got it out.

Changed out my Advance Adapters sye for a JB conversions HD SHORTY sye. Now my driveshaft fits and I'm testing out the new rear diff. 2 Wheel drive till front axle swap happens. I know 4.10s with 33's is a peg low but for me coming off 3.07s is a nice change. Happy

Got the front axle dropped tonight after work. Should have the Rubi Dana 44 in tomorrow night. I need my 4 wheel drive back! Castle nut cotter pins are the only thing needing replaced so far.

Are you doing this all by yourself? If so, all I can say is shitty!

Just doing the front control arms by myself would have been so much easier with an extra hand. Those damn axles weigh a lot!

Yep. Did the back by myself and that was okay.

Hey Chris shitty indeed! Front axle is in so now it's all about adjusting and double checking everything. Seems longer to do it but only have 5 hours into it. Hoping the rain stays away one more evening.

Okay I knew something had to go wrong. I got my front Rubi Dana 44 in and the left axle shaft(driver side)won't turn. I don't have the driveshaft installed yet but when I was putting the tires on I noticed the issue. I thought I checked it all out prior to install. Can I get some clarification on this. I can turn the yoke and only the passenger side is turning. I and feel the left one wanting to turn but it is locked up. Could the locker inside still be on?
