What did you do to your TJ today?

Yesterday was fun. First time caught in a downpour. Stupid weather people 😖

Good times! That happened to me the first time I took it out without the top. I was able to outrun the impending doom for a little while, but it caught me out in an area with nothing but crop fields and road. And rain. 🤣

I do the same thing, although our choices in music may be slightly different. Last night was "Zombified" and tonight will be "Voices in my head."

Let me know what you think of it when you’ve got time… I’m looking at getting a frameless top… with the new TJ I’ve got a hardtop and no frame for a soft top… I’m thinking the Frameless top might be the best play… those summer night drive are just no the same with a hardtop on…

I know it's more expensive, but I have the Bestop Trektop (very similar) and the versatility is perfect. You can run full top, flip the front portion open (sunrider style), or take off the sides and back and run just the top safari style. I've run down the highway at 70 with the sunrider flipped back and it's no issue. There's no flapping or added noise. I'm loving the top!

Can I get a sanity check on my order of operations.

I’m replacing my cracked radiator so I’m taking the opportunity to replace my original waterpump with a new Mopar, at which point, the cooling system will have been entirely replaced.
Should I
1) pull the old, radiator etc, install new pump and radiator and that’s it?
Or
2) use an emergency patch on the radiator, pull the fan, install new pump, assuming the patch holds, I can test for leaks on the new pump and then install the new radiator?

I’d like to avoid rework but don’t want to make the install overly inefficient.

I don't see any reason to use Option 2, personally. Seems like more work (patching the radiator) for no gain...

Just picked these up from my local pick n pull.

Currently fabricating a wire harness while my Jeep has its engine replaced. They come heated and fully powered with lumbar support too. I got Everything to work. So I’ll be hooking up flip switches.

Those are smart-lookin' seats! Looks like they have side-impact airbags, so make sure you remove those. You don't want static electricity setting them off randomly!
