Anybody done this skid? If so: does it actually add additional clearance off the ground and would anybody recommend a higher-performance fuel pump while that’s being done? Have 24lb fuel injectors

No experience with that skid. However, I installed the Rokmen skid on two of my TJs with good results. Simple install and good fitment but a small body lift is required. Couple hundred cheaper than that Teraflex skid.

Consider installing a new Bosch fuel pump if you can find one.

That skid is not 3/16" thick. They used to advertise it as 3/16" thick and I bought it. I put calipers to it and it was .140" thick. I returned it and told them they needed to change their advertising.

The Rokmen website says you can use shims if you don't run a BL, which I don't. Any idea what would need to be done to shim it? I would imagine all the mounting studs would be too short..

Washers. The "studs" are just carriage bolts. You can get longer ones or do what I did and drill them out and replace with stainless nutserts and bolts. I did all mine with M8s.

Im still using my stock skid and saving up for aluminum.

Nutserts... love that idea.
Thank you.

This is my LJ with the Rokmen skid. Install took about 2 hours solo including the gas pump install.

I’m pretty sure that was the one I had on my Jeep before I swapped to the Saavy skid. It does raise the tank 1” so a body lift is needed or space it down. Never had a problem with it. Fit well.
Factory pump works no need for a “high performance pump” the engine only uses so much fuel for a given load. The stock pump returns 1/2 the fuel back to the tank via the return line.
