Wildman's TJ is getting a face lift

Well I'd really hoped that I could make the SwayLoc work but I think that this kills the deal.
I'd have to really chop up this bumper to make it work.

I've still got the Anti-Rock that I can use instead.

Looks like you just need to clip the corner off, based on your pictures. I must be missing something.

I'm more worried about when it's flex that the inner arm would get into the tube/bar on the bumper. This is sitting at ride height but I could be wrong.

The sway lock? Bumper doesn’t have anything to do with that, does it? When you say tub, are you meaning grill shell?

The tube/bar on the bumper. To me it looks like I'd have to cut it back too much.
I need to try using a different length link on the SwayLoc and see if I can get the arms lower but not so low that they can invert when at full droop. When I used the shorter ones in the kit they were too short.

Edit: I went back and fixed my post. Sorry for not proofreading my post better.

Have you tried raising the axle to full stuff on both sides at the same time yet? It does look like it will be close, but you might still clear it.

No I had to stop because that bruise on my leg was bugging me still and I don't want it to end up like last year where I have to be off my feet for 3 weeks.

If/When you do, move your links to the "tightest" setting (closest hole to the pivot), because that's where they'll move the arm the most. If it doesn't hit, then you'd know it will clear no matter where you set it.

Never even thought about which hole would make the arms move the most. I'll spend a few hours tomorrow out in the garage but stay off my leg as much as possible. Will be going to the prosthetist on Wednesday so hopefully he can fix it.

Health first!!
Do you have one of those knee walkers?

More BAD news.... I'm off my feet for at least 2-3 days since when I took my prosthetic off last night and removed the liner I'd split the skin where I'd bruised it and had blood in the bottom of my liner. So I've got to let all this heal before I can be on my feet for any length of time. Won't bore yall of you with pictures of it but know it SUCKS and I'm frustrated.

IMO it’s odd for a bumper to tell you what sway bar to use. Choose your sway bar then move whatever tries to occupy its space. Cut the tube legs and move them inboard if needed

Sorry man. That sucks, and you're getting so close! Worth taking the time to heal up and be able to enjoy the time in the garage. Hope it gets better fast

I can always go back to my old bumper. I'm not going to cut up that Motobuilt bumper. I don't have the tools needed to bend new tubing.

I like the Motobuilt bumper so I'll try to work around it as needed. If I can't then I'll go back to my old bumper.

Thanks. Just SUCKS and I hate having to just sit around.

I would agree. The benefit of the Swayloc far outweighs bumper styling IMO.

For a DD I 100% agree. For mine I'm not as sure that it'll matter as much but yes if I can make it work I will.

IMO it's like everything else on this Jeep. I've had to make it fit/work together and sometimes make compromises along the way.
